Welcome!

According to a survey, 30-50% of the world's total population are introverts. And introverts are those who are not very comfortable sharing their feelings and emotions to people. But isn’t it a necessity to speak out our hearts? We are humans and humans need to share their feelings. Above all,  this is the reason we are called social animals. If we don’t do so, those feelings and emotions will eat us from inside. Still, the introvert community likes to keep it to themselves. But, they are one of the most understanding humans you’ll ever meet.
Tell me if you have ever found yourself in a situation where you are all by yourself? You want to talk but you're at a loss for words?
Trust me, everyone of us has been in such situations. Let's be honest we all have seen a time when we found ourselves isolated from everyone and everything present in this world. All of us need a friend to whom we can share all of our feelings. And those who can’t do it with a friend use a diary and in this digital world you can always start a blog.
But, why do we do all this? What’s the need to share your feelings with a person or diary? To get rid of the discomfort these words will cause if not spoken? To seek solace?
Let’s accept it whatever we do is all because we want peace at heart and seek solace in life. So, I welcome you all in this voyage of seeking solace and attaining inner peace.

Respect Durga

Respect Durga   Durga puja is the festival of respecting and worshiping Durga. Generally, we forget to respect her and end up only worshiping her.  I saw a girl of 13-14 years near a puja pandal. And mind it she was wearing a kurti with leggings. She was happy, it was evident from her face that it was her favorite festival. The place was congested but her eyes found their way to look at Durga’s idol and admire her. Durga, a female which everyone of us worship. She has a trishul in one of her hands. She is believed to be serene and composed until and unless someone tries to lay hands on her dignity. She uses her trishool to protect the world. While the girl expressed admiration for Durga, she felt someone trying to lay hands on her self-esteem. She was too afraid to turn back and face what was happening, so she chose to move ahead with her mother.  She again sensed a touch which felt like a thorn. This time she turned back hoping he’ll be shamefaced of what he did to a gir...

The less starry and more cloudy Night

The less starry and more cloudy Night The timekeeper showed 2 a.m. I was sitting on a chair in the veranda and gazing at the dark, less starry and more cloudy sky. I realized the movies have romanticized the night sky too much. They say that a night sky without a moon, lots of stars and a love of your life by your side is not a beautiful one. But, this night changed my views. There were not many stars and neither the moon was visible distinctly, still it was alluring. I didn't have my one and only sitting beside me and gazing at the moon, instead I had my sister with me, and we were both quietly listening to the sounds which we were taking no notice of, since how long, even we didn't know. I realized the night sky needs not to be romantic always, it can be peaceful too as it is today. I looked at the roads, there wasn't any human or even a dog which was visible except the two of us. Still, the place was filled with a cold but gentle wind and lots and lots of silence. The ...

The Unpredictable Life

The Unpredictable Life His body was lying cold and lifeless on the hospital bed. It seemed as if he had attained absolute peace. His wounds were not healed, but they didn't hurt anymore. It looked like he had made peace with his wounds and broken bones; the wounds decided to not hurt him anymore either. The scenario was exactly the opposite around his lifeless body. He was at peace but the people who were in love seemed to have lost all the peace. A grieving mother asking his son to wake up. The broken bones were ready to cause discomfort again once he wakes up, but he decided to not wake up from his peaceful sleep.  A sister standing beside her mother, trying hard to console her but failed miserably in controlling her own grief.  A brother who did all he could to save him had nothing left to say or do other than to hide his tears and stand still like a pillar to not let the family fall. All he could do now is to make arrangements for the last rites of his brother. There stood...
